New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a 2009 sidescrolling game published and developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo Wii console. The game's plot is similar to the other sidescrolling Mario games, where Mario has to fight his way through Bowser's henchmen to rescue Princess Peach. This game also features some old power ups and new power ups such as Fire Flower, Ice Flower, Propeller Hat, Penguin Suit etc. The game features nine worlds Mario has to complete, which has 88 levels in total. Each world has a Boss Castle and Fortress where you have to beat one of Bowser's eight children and finally Bowser, then rescue Princess Peach. New Super Mario Bros. Wii recieved well reviews from critics and succesful with game aggregators, GameRankings and Metacritic recieving an average of 88% and 87/100.
