The Nintendo 64 Voice Recognition Unit (or Nintendo 64 VRU for short) was an accessory for the Nintendo 64 that allowed the player to Play Hey You, Pikachu! by talking to Pikachu using the VRU. It was compatable with the japanese only game Densha de Go! but wasn't required to play. The game works best using a high-piched voice like a child. The VRU could only be used using that region's common language for example, you can't play Densha de Go! using english. This accessory was never sold in the PAL region.
